the moms are making easy summer camp lunches, buying jorts, and figuring out their summer routine
Happy Fourth of July, Everymoms! The long weekend we all desperately need is officially here and I couldn't be happier. Sure, this will be a really long weekend with the kids out of school and seeking 24/7 entertainment, but here's hoping we can all find a few moments of relaxation among all the fun. Whether you're attending a cookout with family or friends, heading to the lake, beach or pool or simply hanging out at home, I wish you all a memorable holiday filled with good food and cherished moments with loved ones.
If you'll be by water this weekend, be sure to keep this safety information in mind. Be on the lookout for these general summer safety hazards and read these tips for keeping kids safe around fireworks, too. If you need some last-minute Fourth of July outfit inspo, we've got you covered. And if you are craving some downtime over the next few days, put on one of these classic summer flicks or pick up a beach read to dive into!
That's all for now, friends. Talk to you next week!

FYI to our New York moms: According to Wallethub's newly released report on Child Care Costs by State, this is the most expensive state for child care, costing around 11-12.8% of the median income for married couples. The cost for single parents is more than twice as high. But, we're sure if this applies to you, this is not shocking news to hear.
In more fun news, Trump's "Big, Beautiful Bill" was passed this week. There is a lot to discuss in this bill, but the cut to Medicaid seems to be hitting the internet the hardest. An important stat to keep in mind is nearly half of all births in the U.S. are financed by Medicaid. We'll just leave it at that.
We'll lighten the mood with our roundup of the long weekend sales that are actually worth shopping from brands like Old Navy, Wayfair, Sephora, and more.
